Warranty
90 days on labor, 365 days on parts, genuine OEM parts.

The two periods
90 days on labor. If the fault we repaired returns within 90 days of the visit, we come back and there is no second $129 and no labor charge.
365 days on parts. A part we supplied and fitted is covered for 365 days from the date of the repair. Genuine OEM parts. We do not fit aftermarket substitutes into sealed systems or into any assembly where the original tolerance matters, which on this equipment is most of them.
What it covers
- The specific fault named on your written estimate and invoice.
- The part we supplied for that fault, including a second visit to replace it.
- Our labor in diagnosing that the same fault has recurred.
What it does not cover
It is a warranty on a repair, not a service contract on the appliance. A different component failing later is a new job, diagnosed at the usual $129. So is any of the following.
- Cleaning and maintenance work. Where the fix was a clean rather than a replacement — a condenser cleared, an ice mold cleaned, a drain path flushed — the appliance is returned to working condition, not given a new service life. Maintenance has an interval, and the estimate names it before you approve the work rather than after you call back.
- Adjustments that later move again. A door aligned, a closer reset or a drawer levelled is covered against the same fault returning, but not against a new panel, a new floor covering or a cabinet refit shifting the geometry afterwards.
- Filters and consumables. A cartridge is rated in gallons, not in months, and it is a wear item. Replacing one is maintenance at any interval.
- Damage from a surge, a flood, a power loss, or work carried out on the appliance by someone else after our visit.
- Pre-existing conditions we identified in writing and you chose not to have repaired.
How to claim
Call the number on this site, say the appliance is back on the same fault, and give us the date of the original visit. Keep the invoice — it names the fault and the part, and those two lines are the whole claim. There is no form, no portal, and no registration step.
Who is warranting the work
We are. This warranty is ours, given by an independent repair company on the labor and parts we supplied. It is not a manufacturer warranty and it does not extend, replace or interact with any coverage Sub-Zero may provide on the appliance itself.
Crosswater Appliance Service is an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Sub-Zero or its parent company. All brand names and model numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the appliances we service.
